Personalised Coaching

Every programme is tailored to the individual.

Sessions are designed around each client’s movement patterns, lifestyle and goals rather than following generic exercise sequences.

Long-Term Physical Confidence

The ultimate aim is not simply fitness, but a body that remains strong, balanced and confident for life.

Clients often notice improvements not only in strength, but also in posture, energy and how they move in everyday activities.

Strength That Supports Real Life

Rather than chasing intensity, the method focuses on building strength progressively so the body becomes more capable, resilient and reliable over time.

Intelligent Alignment

Posture, joint mechanics and muscular balance are refined to reduce unnecessary strain and allow the body to move with greater ease.

Precision of Movement

With a background in choreography and movement analysis, every exercise is taught with careful attention to alignment, timing and control.

Small adjustments create meaningful improvements in posture and movement efficiency.

Who is it for?

The Novaes Method is designed for people who want to move well, feel strong and maintain a capable body for the long term.

Many clients come after years of trying different approaches that never quite addressed the root of their movement issues.

Busy Professionals

You have a full life and limited time. You want training that is intelligent, efficient and genuinely improves how your body feels and performs.

Clients Seeking Long-Term Strength

Many clients are not looking for extreme workouts; they want a body that remains strong, mobile and reliable as they move through different stages of life.

Dancers, Athletes and Movement Professionals

With a background in professional dance and movement analysis, the Novaes Method is particularly effective for those who rely on precise body awareness and control.

People Experiencing Pain or Stiffness

Perhaps you have noticed increasing stiffness, recurring aches or postural discomfort from long hours at a desk.

Through precise movement coaching, we work to restore balance, strength and ease of movement.

Individuals Recovering From Injury

Sessions can be adapted to support rehabilitation and work alongside physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals when required.

What Clients Notice First

Clients often arrive looking to improve strength or reduce discomfort.
What they usually notice first is how quickly their body begins to move differently.

Improved Posture

Many clients report that they begin standing and walking differently within the first few weeks.

Small adjustments in alignment and muscle activation can significantly improve posture and reduce unnecessary tension.

Relief from Recurring Aches

Through precise coaching and careful attention to movement patterns, many clients experience relief from recurring neck, shoulder or lower back discomfort.

A Stronger, More Stable Body

Rather than feeling exhausted after training, clients often describe feeling stronger, more balanced and more supported in their everyday movements.

Greater Awareness of the Body

Clients frequently say they become more aware of how they sit, walk and move throughout the day.

This awareness is often the key to long-term improvement.

A Feeling of Confidence in Movement

Over time, the body becomes more capable and resilient.

Many clients describe feeling more confident in their movement, whether exercising, travelling or simply going about daily life.

Why Work With Tatiana

Tatiana Novaes brings together more than two decades of experience across professional dance, Pilates, strength training and rehabilitation.

Her work is shaped by years of analysing movement at the highest level of professional dance and translating that understanding into intelligent, personalised coaching.

  • Before focusing fully on coaching, Tatiana worked extensively within the international dance world, including roles as choreologist and rehearsal director with major ballet companies and productions at the Royal Opera House.

This background developed a highly trained eye for movement, alignment and physical expression that continues to inform her teaching today.

  • Tatiana trained in Pilates through the Alan Herdman programme and has continued to expand her expertise through advanced study with leading educators, including Elizabeth Larkam, as well as the Franklin Method and other movement approaches.

This combination allows her to integrate classical Pilates principles with a modern understanding of biomechanics and strength training.tion text goes here

  • Each session is carefully designed around the individual.

Rather than following fixed routines, Tatiana works closely with each client’s movement patterns, lifestyle and goals to create a structured programme that evolves over time.

  • Throughout her career, Tatiana has worked with physiotherapists, osteopaths and rehabilitation specialists to support clients recovering from injury or dealing with long-standing movement issues.

This collaborative approach allows training to remain both safe and effective.

  • Tatiana has been teaching movement since the early 2000s, working with a wide range of clients, including professional dancers, performers, rehabilitation clients and busy professionals.

Her work is built on the belief that intelligent movement training can help the body remain strong, capable and confident for life.

Tatiana is a wonderful teacher. My husband and I have had Pilates classes with her for years ,and she is the tops! We really feel the benefit, and she always varies the exercises, so it is never routine or boring. We could not recommend her highly enough.
